Acer is expanding its Android tablet lineup with three new models featuring large displays with 3:2 aspect ratios.Models range from an $399 entry-level tablet with a 12.2 inch, 90 Hz display and a MediaTek Helio G99 processor to a premium model with a 14.2 inch, 120 Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 that sells for $699.Acer Iconia Duo S14The new Acer Iconia Duo D12 is the most affordable of the bunch, with $399 starting price in the US or 329 Euros in Europe.This model features a 12.2 inch, 2400 x 1600 pixel, 90 Hz screen, a Helio G99 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4 memory and 128GB of UFS storage.It has a 30.4 Wh battery, support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and features a single USB Type-C port, a microSD card reader with support for up to 1TB of removable storage, and support for optional accessories including an active stylus with pressure sensitive input, a magnetic kickstand, and a detachable keyboard. It should be available in North America in August, 2026.Acer’s new Iconia Duo S12 is roughly the same size as the D12, but it brings higher-performance hardware and a slightly thinner, lighter design, measuring just 6.5mm thick and weighing 580 grams (1.28 pounds).This model has a 12.2 inch, 2880 x 1840 pixel, 120 Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, and up to 256GB of UFS storage. It has an aluminum alloy chassis and slightly better cameras, with a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. But it also has quad speakers, a slightly larger 38 Wh battery, support for WiFi 6E, and two USB Type-C ports.
