Lenovo has been selling Android-powered gaming tablets with speedy processors, high-quality screens, and other premium specs for years. But up until recently, they’ve all been relatively compact tablets with 8.8 inch screens. Now Lenovo has introduced two new models that will be sold under the Legion Y900 name in China: one is an 11.1 inch tablet with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500S processor, while the other is a 13 inch model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.Lenovo Legion Y900 (13)Both tablets have 3840 x 2560 pixel displays with support for refresh rates up to 144 Hz, up to 1100 nits peak brightness, and support for a Lenovo Pen Pro (2nd-gen) with 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity for writing, drawing, or otherwise interacting with the display. The tablets can also be used with an optional detachable keyboard with RGB backlit keys and a touchpad. Both tablets also feature support for LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.1 storage. And both have 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, with a circle in the rear camera bar for RGB lighting effects. They also both measure 6mm (0.24 inches) thick and feature USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with support for video output, 5 Gbps data transfer speeds, and 68W fast charging.Lenovo Legion Y900 (11)But there are a few key differences:The Lenovo Legion Y900 (13 inch) not only has a bigger screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, but it also has six speakers (two tweeters and four woofers), and 12,700 mAh battery, and at least 256GB of storage. In addition to a 13MP primary camera, this model has an additional 2MP camera on the back, which the smaller version lacks. The 13 inch gaming tablet weighs 599 grams (1.32 pounds).Lenovo Legion Y900 (11)Meanwhile the Lenovo Legion Y900 (11.1 inch) is a 480 gram (1.1 pound) tablet with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500S processor, 11,000 mAh battery, and quad speakers. Both tablets ship with Android 16 and are available in memory and storage configurations including 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. Lenovo also offers a higher-priced version of the Legion Y900 (13 inch) with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Lenovo Legion Y900 (13) Lenovo Legion Y900 (13) Lenovo Legion Y900 (13) Lenovo Legion Y900 (11) Lenovo Legion Y900 (11) Lenovo Legion Y900 (11)Lenovo hasn’t yet announced plans to sell either tablet outside of China, but the company does have a history of selling some of its Legion Y700 (8.8 inch) tablets globally under the Lenovo Legion Tab brand. So I wouldn’t be surprised if these or future 11 and 13 inch models eventually made it to other countries.Prices in China start at around $450 for an entry-level model with an 11 inch display and 8GB of RAM or about $560 for a 13 inch model with similar specs.via ITHome, Phablet.jp, and NotebookCheck
