The global fintech Revolut has surpassed the milestone of 2 million customers in Greece.According to an official announcement, this development marks its dramatic transition from a travel payments and money transfer app into a core banking partner for millions of consumers. This achievement consolidates Greece’s position as one of Revolut’s fastest-growing and strategically most important markets globally. Today, more than 18% of the Greek population uses Revolut, placing the country among the markets with the highest penetration of the company worldwide.Greece is also now the 11th largest market for Revolut globally in terms of retail customers.According to Revolut, this development reflects a broader shift in the Greek banking landscape, as consumers increasingly turn to financial services that are user-friendly, tailored to everyday needs, and offer fee transparency. As a result, Revolut is playing an increasingly active role in customers’ daily financial habits, from payments and savings to investments and business services. This momentum has strengthened significantly over the past two years. In 2025, Revolut added more than 400,000 new retail customers in Greece, while its total customer base grew by over 30%.
