The Cambodian government has denied reports that African nationals with expired immigration waivers have been ordered to leave the country by May 31, 2026.

The clarification followed earlier reports that Cambodian government had ordered Africans with expired immigration waivers to leave by May 31, 2026.
The clarification was issued in Phnom Penh by the General Department of Immigration.
