Institutional Ethereum staking just got another on-ramp. Cactus Custody has integrated Lido V3 stVaults into its platform, giving its institutional clients the ability to build, customize, and manage staking vaults directly through the Cactus Link browser extension.

The move places Cactus Custody alongside Fireblocks and Copper as qualified custodians supporting Lido’s newest staking infrastructure.

What stVaults actually do

Think of Lido V3 stVaults as modular staking containers. Instead of the one-size-fits-all approach that defined earlier versions of liquid staking, stVaults let vault owners choose their own node operators, set custom parameters, and mint stETH against their staked assets. All of this happens in a non-custodial manner.

Lido V3 stVaults launched on Ethereum mainnet in early February 2026, following extensive design work and testnet phases throughout 2025.
