After Friday’s draw, stories of participants becoming multi-millionaires from a PowerBall ticket that cost only R5 may become part of National Lottery history, as the PowerBall board price is reportedly set to increase from R5 to R10, while PowerBall PLUS is reportedly set to increase from R2,50 to R5 per board.

ITHUBA confirmed that this Friday’s PowerBall jackpot is estimated at R118 million, while the PowerBall PLUS jackpot is estimated at R105 million. Together, the PowerBall and PowerBall PLUS jackpots amount to a combined estimated total of R223 million.
