LAGOS — The Lagos State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has condemned the recent kidnapping of school children in Oyo State and called on Nigerians to remain prayerful, united and supportive of security agencies in the fight against insecurity.
Chairman of Lagos CAN, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, made the call during a media briefing in Lagos on Thursday.
Adegbite, who also serves as Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission, expressed concern over the rising cases of insecurity across the country, but urged Nigerians not to lose faith in the ability of government and security agencies to restore peace and protect lives.
