Gov't publishes multilingual guide on public transport, bookings, payments for tourists

An English transportation guide released by the government on May 29 [MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM]

The government published a multilingual guide on public transport, booking and payment services for foreign tourists in Korea.

The guide — in the form of a digital image — has been published in English, Japanese and Chinese. It mainly contains information on how to get from the airport to popular tourist spots in Seoul; pay for major transportation methods, including the airport limousine, subways, buses and taxis; use overseas credit cards; and navigate taxi, map and reservation apps.

The government will promote the guide through multiple platforms, including the VisitKorea website and the Korea Tourism Organization's social media channels. Major tourist information offices around the country will also display QR codes leading to the image.
