A survey by the Greek eCommerce Association (GRECA) and the E-Business Research Center (ELTRUN), under the auspices of eQuality NGO, highlights the further maturation of e-commerce in Greece, with consumers maintaining strong digital activity and steadily integrating online shopping into their daily lives.
The survey, the results of which were presented during a special event on Wednesday, was conducted through an online questionnaire among a sample of 600 Greek consumers who make purchases via the internet. Over 77% stated that they purchase products or services online “frequently” or “very frequently,” a figure slightly higher compared to 2025.
The main drivers supporting online shopping continue to be time savings and better prices. A total of 75.4% agree that online shopping allows them more time for other activities, while 74.2% believe they achieve better prices. At the same time, the speed of online purchases is viewed positively by 64.2% of respondents.
