Kondawa Nomadic School in Bauchi State
The Centre for Information Technology and Development has distributed school uniforms and learning materials to pupils of Kondawa Nomadic School in Bauchi State’s Jama’are Local Government Area and recruited three additional teachers to address acute staff shortages in the school.
The intervention, carried out on Thursday, targeted the nomadic school community serving several surrounding settlements.
The Executive Director of CITAD, Y.Z. Ya’u, said the initiative was aimed at expanding access to education in remote and underserved communities, particularly among the nomadic Fulani population.
Represented by Isah Garba during the event, Ya’u said basic educational support remained vital to improving school participation among mobile communities.
