Anthropic raised $65 billion in Series H funding at a $965 billion post money valuation, bringing the company close to a $1 trillion valuation as Claude adoption accelerates across global enterprises.

The round was led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital. Anthropic said the funding will support safety and interpretability research, expand compute capacity to meet rising demand for Claude, and scale the products and partnerships used by its customers.

The company said global enterprises are deploying Claude in core operations, while more people are using the AI assistant for everyday work. Since Anthropic’s Series G in February, adoption has continued to grow across enterprise customers, and run rate revenue crossed $47 billion earlier this month.

Krishna Rao, Anthropic’s chief financial officer, said the funding will help the company meet surging demand for Claude, expand tools such as Claude Code and Cowork, and keep investing at the research frontier.

The round was co led by Capital Group, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, GIC, ICONIQ, and XN, with participation from major backers including Blackstone, Brookfield, Fidelity, General Catalyst, Insight Partners, and Jane Street, among others.
