It is time for Ukraine to take any chances that are available, says Yatsenyuk
Ukraine should seize the “opportunity” of associate membership as proposed by Friedrich Merz, the German chancellor, last week, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the former Ukrainian prime minister told Euractiv.
Yatsenyuk, who often advises Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s president, believes Kyiv should take the German offer because of looming political changes and elections across the EU
“I see Merz’s letter as an opportunity. That’s my reading,” he said.
