MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Agriculture (DA) has expanded the exemptions to the moratorium on the reclassification of agricultural lands to ensure unhampered government services.
Under Department Circular No. 27, the DA exempted agro-industrial zones and agri support facilities from the land-use reclassification ban to avoid disrupting government projects.

Agro-industrial zones cover integrated farming and agricultural processing activities, including plantations and processing facilities.
