MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday explained that the revocation order for Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa’s firearms licenses and registrations are “immediately executory.”

“We advise, and we seek their cooperation to surrender the said firearms since it’s now considered illegal and unlicensed firearms,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co told reporters in a briefing in Camp Crame.

“That’s immediately executory (revocation of firearms license). Supposedly, it (guns) should be subject to confiscation. The Philippine National Police can and may initiate legal police operations against the subject firearms,” he added.
