MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police Firearms and Explosives Office (PNP FEO) has recommended the cancellation of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa’s firearms licenses.
“As early as last week, the FEO already conducted the motu propio investigation or inquiry. We did not wait for the NBI’s (National Bureau of Investigation) request for the cancellation,” the unit’s legal officer Lt. Col. Domer Tadeo told reporters in Camp Crame on Tuesday afternoon.
“With that, earlier, we have identified the ground to use to cancel the LTOPF (license to own and possess firearms) and firearms registration of our good senator,” he added.
