The CEO of Kakao, the operator of Korea's most popular messenging service, apologized Thursday to employees over growing internal uncertainty, including the possibility of a strike by the labor union.
“I sincerely apologize for not being able to quickly resolve the many concerns and uncertainties,” said Kakao CEO Chung Shin-a in an internal notice that day, according to IT industry sources.
