Celebrities, artists and music creatives have arrived to celebrate the best of Aotearoa music at The Civic in Tāmaki Makaurau.
This year's Aotearoa Music Awards will be presented by RNZ's Music 101 host Kara Rickard and comedian Tom Sainsbury.
Folk singer Marlon Williams leads with seven nominations alongside hip-hop artist Tom Scott (whose album producer, cover artist and engineer are also nominated), for album of the year, single of the year and best solo artist. Lorde follows close behind with four nominations for her much-anticipated album, Virgin.
