TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The weather is expected to be partly cloudy throughout the day in almost all of Jakarta and the four surrounding metropolitan cities today, Thursday, May 28, 2026. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has detected potential rainy thunderstorms in Bogor Regency from afternoon until evening.Referring to the weather forecast released by BMKG last Wednesday night, the weather in Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) is expected to be mostly cloudy early this morning, with some areas experiencing thick clouds.Although there is no potential for heavy rain, the air humidity in Jakarta and its surrounding areas ranges from 55 to 90 percent.From Thursday morning towards noon, mostly sunny and partly cloudy weather will persist in most areas of Jakarta. At the same time, there is a potential for light to moderate rain in some parts of Bogor Regency. These weather conditions are likely to persistfor the rest of the day.The air temperature in the capital ranges from 26-32 degrees Celsius.
