TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas of Jakarta and its surrounding areas will be showered with rain, possibly accompanied by thunder, during the afternoon until later this evening on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Throughout today, the air humidity level in the capital ranges from 60-95 percent.Referring to the latest weather forecast from BMKG, the weather across the Jabodetabek (Greater Jakarta) area tends to be cloudy in the early hours of this morning, with some areas experiencing thick cloud cover. This weather condition is likely to persist until midday on Tuesday. However, there is a potential for light-intensity rain in some areas of Bogor Regency and throughout Tangerang.From the afternoon until approaching 7:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) later, BMKG has detected the potential for light to moderate rain in some areas of North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta. The rain, which may be accompanied by thunder and lightning, is also expected in Tangerang City and Regency, South Tangerang City, Depok City, almost all of Bekasi, and Bogor Regency.With the wet weather conditions, the daily air temperatures in Jabodetabek vary between 25-32 degrees Celsius.
