Ted Danson to play Elizabeth Banks’s father
As reported by Deadline, legendary actor Ted Danson has joined Elizabeth Banks’s untitled half-hour comedy series, which is set to start filming this year in Los Angeles.
The show, which also stars Rob Delaney (Bad Monkey, Deadpool & Wolverine), was created by Liz Heldens (The Dropout) and Matt Ward (The Big Leap), and will tell the story of Heidi (Banks), a recently-divorced woman who “sets out to secure a lively second act for herself and her kids”.
