A masked vandal smashed the windscreen of a £250,000 Aston Martin and plastered 'cheater' on the bonnet in capital letters.Police were called to reports of criminal damage on Monday afternoon at a golf club in Molesey, Surrey.The man was filmed casually leaving the scene in a pair of shorts and strolling towards a local river.Witnesses claim they saw him pull a hammer from his rucksack before shattering the windows and lights and tearing the roof open of the luxury convertible.Striking photos taken in the aftermath show the vehicle's windows have been decimated, with white paint stretching across the bonnet.Police immediately declared the car as a 'write off' after arriving within minutes of the incident before interviewing witnesses and the owner, who had been walking his two terrier dogs.Investigations remain ongoing and forensics have attended the scene to search for evidence.The Metropolitan Police said they searched the area but were 'unable to locate the suspect'.
