Brands are shaking it up in Shakari for the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The newest Star Wars film premiered in theaters on May 22, grossing $165 million globally during its four-day Memorial Day weekend launch. Aside from being a number-1 box office hit, the film has also catalyzed a frenzy of Star Wars-themed brand collections to enter the galaxy — including Squishmallow plushies and Fossil watches. Some brands channeled their inner George Lucas while filming alternate versions of the Star Wars universe to advertise movie-inspired collections of glow-in-the-dark Owala bottles and N-1 Starfighter Lego sets. Here’s how four brands are celebrating the new film’s release.Lego’s drone-ified N-1 StarfighterLego, known for recreating movie scenes in minute detail to advertise Wicked and Harry Potter sets, dropped five Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu sets. The sets include a buildable Grogu, Anzellan Starship, Attack, Razor Crest and New Republic X-Wing Starfighter, with prices ranging from $39 to $149. To advertise its Starfighter set, Lego hooked up the aircraft with drone mechanics and filmed a POV video of it launching through canyons and forests, ending with the punchline: “the fastest bricks in the galaxy.” Owala bottles-turned-spaceshipsWater bottle brand Owala launched Darth Vader, Grogu and Millenium Falcon bottles with a space-themed ad where each bottle launched onto another planet. As the dust settled from each bottle’s landing, Owala revealed the glow-in-the-dark capabilities of its Millenium Falcon bottle. Fans can purchase the bottles — which are adorned with metallic stars, green butterflies and Darth Vader masks — for $49.99. @owalaA new collection has entered the galaxy. Darth Vader, Grogu, and the , featuring a glow-in-the-dark design, now exclusively on Amazon for preorder. For those embarking on Earth-centric missions, carrier robot company Piaggio Fast Forward advertised its Star Wars-decorated droid as a camping companion — roughing the campground’s terrain with its wheels and transporting firewood and tent poles. The robot, which features light-up wheels and Grogu, retails for $2,875.Labubus, but make it GroguPop Mart — the company that sells Labubus — released a Grogu Tiny but Mighty blind box set with 12 figurines, including a secret Grogu that fans have a one in 144 chance of opening. The three to four-inch tall Grogus are retailing for $19.99 each, and fans can purchase the entire set for $239 to avoid buying duplicates. To advertise the full set, Pop Mart lined each Grogu side-by-side to recreate the creature’s mission to “find his zen” — a journey he began during the 2022 animated short film, Zen - Grogu and Dust Bunnies.
