Paralign Health Raises $3 Million Seed Round to Build National EMS-Led Preventative Care Network in Rural America

Paralign Health, the healthcare technology company enabling health plans to reach underserved patients through Mobile Integrated Health-Community Paramedicine (MIH-CP), announced it has raised $3 million in seed funding to grow its national network of fire departments and EMS agencies, accelerate the development of its technology platform, and expand its health plan partnerships.

The round was led by Flyover Capital, with participation from SixThirty Ventures, Springtime Ventures, Forum Ventures, Sorenson Impact Foundation, Stone Mountain Ventures, and GovTech Ventures.

“Rural communities need new ways to expand access to care, and local EMS agencies are one of the most trusted assets already in place,” said Patrick Berry, Partner at Flyover Capital. “Paralign is building an operating model to help health plans and EMS agencies turn that trust into a scalable care model.”

More than one in four Americans live in medically underserved areas with limited access to preventative healthcare. These patients experience disproportionately high rates of unmanaged chronic illness, avoidable emergency room utilization, and poor long-term health outcomes.
