The attack on the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) officials and their vehicle in front of former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s residence on Wednesday (May 27, 2026) is shameful, BJP State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said. Attacking officials on duty and obstructing investigations is not a political protest; it is an attack on the rule of law, said Mr. Chandrasekhar in a statement here on Wednesday.As expected, the Congress-led Sate government is maintaining silence to protect its political partner, the CPI(M). Stating that the people of Kerala have the right to know the truth, he said no leader, party, or former Chief Minister is above the law.
