A contract conservancy worker with the Coimbatore Corporation returned a gold chain weighing around three sovereigns after finding it in garbage collected during door-to-door waste segregation work in the city on Wednesday (May 27).The worker, Shakthivel, who is employed at Ward 69 under the Corporation’s Central Zone, found the chain while segregating waste at Bharathi Park on Alagesan Road. The chain had reportedly been discarded accidentally along with household waste.Recognising his act of honesty, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M.
