The Rivals star, 36, welcomed her first son Barney back in 2024 with her fiancé Alistair Garner.‌And she admits she couldn't leave her house in the weeks that followed her youngster's birth after suffering from a difficult pregnancy. She revealed that during her pregnancy she was trolled for being "enormous".‌She went on to say the trolling changed after she gave birth. I went through a very difficult pregnancy."Speaking to Grazia magazine, she continued: "I was very ill after the birth. I had sepsis, I couldn't leave the house for weeks. It was awful."‌She had to deny claims of using jabs to lose weight and hit out at those continuously focusing on her appearance. She went on to tell the publication: "'I'm just asking for people for a little bit of patience and understanding at such a complex thing. Women's bodies change all the time. I am so done with defending it.'She revealed she is now doing better when it comes to her health and is looking forward to her wedding in September.The actress, who shot to fame when she was cast as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, has gone onto a successful career in comedy. But she has opened up on some tough times in the industry, saying she has been "through it" when it comes to inappropriate behaviour.‌She made the claims while promoting her latest role as Sarah Stratton in racy Disney+ hit Rivals as she returns to the adaptation of Jilly Cooper's raunchy novel for the second series. Explaining how she has been involved in a number of productions, including 13 films, Emily made the sad reveal.She told the publication: "Where I was a teenager, I learned to accept that on certain sets things were going to happen – whether it was touching me, whispering things in my ear between takes when nobody was listening, or texting me outside of work hours with inappropriate things. I’ve been through it."Opening up about her experiences, she said: "My whole life, I’ve been sexually harassed. In the streets, I’ve been flashed. It’s ­happened since I was 10. Now I’m sexually harassed online every day. I find it ­really tough.‌She revealed the instances made her want to talk about the moments in her recent documentary. "I wanted to talk about the implications," she said."There’s no accountability. It’s not ­illegal to send this stuff to people. I'm very damaged by the things that have happened to me."I’m constantly being blamed for it all. I’m a very sexually liberated woman, I talk about my life in that way.
