A suspected Ebola case in Bengaluru triggered a health alert after a 28-year-old woman from Uganda was isolated with mild symptoms. Officials later confirmed her initial test came back negative for Ebola. India’s Health Ministry says there are currently no confirmed Ebola cases in the country, while surveillance and precautionary measures have been intensified following outbreaks in parts of Africa.
