The suspects were arrested during separate operations carried out in communities, including Gwarmai in the Ghari Local Government Area, Challawa Industrial Area, Unguwar Rimi and Waratallawa in Kumbotso Local Government Area.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, said its operatives arrested 10 persons for alleged involvement in vandalism, theft, criminal conspiracy, trespass, and possession of suspected stolen items across different parts of the state.

The suspects were arrested during separate operations carried out in communities, including Gwarmai in the Ghari Local Government Area, Challawa Industrial Area, Unguwar Rimi and Waratallawa in Kumbotso Local Government Area.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi.

According to Abdullahi, the arrests followed intelligence and surveillance operations by NSCDC personnel targeting criminal gangs allegedly involved in attacks on public infrastructure and theft-related activities in Kano.
