Korean and Canadian naval bands conducted a joint performance on Wednesday in a bid to enhance the partnership between the navies, officials said, following the arrival of a Korean submarine at a port in Victoria, Canada.

The two naval bands held a joint performance at the Royal Theater in Victoria, British Columbia, as part of efforts to commemorate the sacrifices of Canadian troops who fought in the 1950-53 Korean War, according to Korea's Navy.
