NATO will facilitate the rapid deployment of forces to Latvia and Estonia in the event of a war with Russia, two sources told Reuters.
In the article published Tuesday, Reuters said NATO planned to assign a second army corps, the German-Netherlands Corps of around 40,000 to 60,000 troops, to bring it “mass at speed” in case of a Russian invasion.
The two countries have now agreed to build up these forces, sources told Reuters.
