Pope Leo XIV got a first-hand look at the Ferrari N.V. (NYSE:RACE) Luce EV as the Italian automaker marked a shift in its powertrain strategy.
Pope Leo X Ferrari Luce
In a video posted on the social media platform X by influencer Sawyer Merritt on Tuesday, the Pope was seen inspecting the Luce alongside Ferrari officials. “Is this the first four-door Ferrari?” the Pope asked officials, to which they responded that it is the first “five-seater” vehicle from Ferrari.
Something went wrong.
Pope Leo was briefed on the Luce’s drive modes as well as its Formula 1 underpinnings during his visit. The Luce was touted by officials to produce over 1,040 hp. He was joined by Ferrari’s Executive Chairman, John Elkann.
