The Justice Ministry denied allegations that former President Yoon Suk Yeol has been receiving preferential treatment at Seoul Detention Center, including claims that he has been using three prison cells by himself.
“Former President Yoon is using just one solitary cell, no different from those used by ordinary inmates,” the ministry said Tuesday.

A YouTube channel operated by journalist Bong Ji-wook alleged on Saturday that Yoon had been freely using three connected cells with the doors left open and was being personally attended by two inmate cleaners assigned exclusively to him. The channel also claimed that inmate meals had been upgraded specifically for Yoon.
