At 59, Beverley Slocombe believed she had left the world of work for good, after decades in the travel industry.

Retirement offered her the chance to slow down and spend more time with family.

But 11 years on, at 70, Beverley is amongst a growing number of older Brits who have “unretired”, returning to work after initially stepping away from their careers.
