JOS — Businessman and governorship aspirant, Kefas Ropshik, has emerged candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State following a keenly contested primary election ahead of the 2027 polls.
Ropshik polled 19,938 votes to defeat three other aspirants in the exercise, which featured delegates from all 17 local government areas of the state.
His emergence positions him as the PDP flag bearer to challenge incumbent Governor Caleb Mutfwang, who is expected to seek re-election in 2027.
