Legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer, which is based on the series of hit novels, will return for a fifth and final season.‌The Lincoln Lawyer returned to the platform with its fourth instalment earlier this year. It quickly became one of the most watched titles amongst subscribers and days before it even landed, the streamer confirmed it had already green lit a fifth outing for Micky Haller and his team.‌Filming seemed to begin on the new season around March this year but fans did not realise it would be the last outing. follows idealistic lawyer Mickey Haller who is known for working out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car, taking on cases big and small across Los Angeles. It is based on the series of novels written by Michael Connelly.Season five will consist of the standard 10 episodes and will adapt Resurrection Walk, the acclaimed seventh novel in Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer book series.‌Series creator and co-showrunner has said of the show ending: “All good things must come to an end, but thankfully sometimes how they come to an end is up to us."Co-showrunner and executive producer Dailyn Rodriguez added: “From the very beginning, the mission was always not only to tell the story of Mickey Haller and his compatriots, but also to give that story a proper conclusion. And while it is, of course, bittersweet, it’s also an amazing opportunity to bring this adventure to a close and perhaps chart a new course for some of our characters into the future.”They both concluded: “We are immensely grateful to Netflix and A+E Studios for the opportunity to land this plane the right way. But most of all, we are grateful to the fans all around the world for watching and supporting the show. We promise you, we are right now building a final season that will provide the satisfying finale Mickey Haller deserves. Emily in Paris ending with Season 6 feels fair because there’s only so many times we can watch Emily bounce between another guy and another European city...
