MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. About 30 experiments are already planned to be conducted at the future Russian Orbital Station (ROS), in coordination with various institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov said.

"We are continuing research on the International Space Station (ISS) together [with the Russian Academy of Sciences]: out of 60 experiments, 25 are being conducted at the request of the RAS. Thirty more are already planned for the Russian Orbital Station, specifically at the request of various institutes of the Academy," he stated, speaking at the General Meeting of RAS Members. Furthermore, as Bakanov noted, 16 scientific spacecraft and missions are planned for launch by 2036 as part of the Federal Space Science project, including Spektr-UV, Spektr-M, the Venera-D mission, the lunar program, and much more.

The State Space Corporation head also thanked the Russian Academy of Sciences for its assistance in selecting the orbital inclination of the future national station. "Despite external limitations, Russian space science maintains its position and remains in demand worldwide. Dear colleagues, today we face a very ambitious task, and it is impossible to solve it without fundamental science. I am confident that together with the Russian Academy of Sciences we can ensure Russia’s leadership in a wide range of areas: from space science to lunar and deep space exploration," Bakanov concluded.
