However, Netanyahu's bloc would still fall five seats short of forming a coalition, holding only 56 seats.Among the opposition parties, alongside Bennett and Lapid's Beyachad (Together), Yashar, led by former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot, would win 14 seats, making it the third-largest party in the Knesset. The Democrats – a merger of the Labor and Meretz parties – would win nine seats, while Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu would secure eight. In the coalition bloc, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit and ultra-Orthodox Shas are projected to win 10 seats each. United Torah Judaism would win seven seats, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's Religious Zionism would win just four seats. With the coalition bloc projected to win 56 seats and the Jewish opposition parties projected to win 54, neither side appears able to form a coalition without the support of at least one Arab party.Benny Gantz's Kahol Lavan, the Palestinian nationalist Balad party and former Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel's party, The Reservists, aren't projected to pass the 3.25 percent electoral threshold and would therefore be left out of the next Knesset. On Sunday evening, Balad announced that it would run on a joint slate with Hadash and Ta'al, and all three parties called on the United Arab List to follow suit and join them. According to the poll, such a joint slate will become the third-largest party with 16 seats, dropping Likud to 23 seats and Beyahad to 21. Overall, the coalition bloc would drop to 53 seats and the Jewish opposition bloc would drop to 51 seats in such a scenario. The poll also sought to find the effect of a Beyachad-Yashar merger on voter sentiment. It found that such a merger would win 38 seats and drop the Likud to 24 seats. In such a scenario, the Jewish opposition bloc would win 56 seats and the coalition bloc 54 seats. The poll was conducted by "Maagar Mochot," managed by Prof. Yitzhak Katz, and "Stat-Net," headed by Yousef Makladeh.
