Supermodel Kate Moss is notoriously private about her personal life, but now the star from Croydon could be joining Netflix with a new docuseries12:46, 26 May 2026Kate Moss could be the new star of Netflix, according to reports. The supermodel from Croydon, 52, is notoriously private about her life away from the catwalk, however she may be about to appear in a new docuseries, marking the 35th anniversary of those iconic Calvin Klein adverts.‌Following in the well-heeled footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Victoria Beckham, whose fly-on-the wall shows on the streaming platform have been a huge success with viewers, Ms Moss would be a huge draw.‌Gracing the covers of countless magazines after being spotted in a airport when she 14, Kate is still an enigma, having previously adopted a "never complain, never explain" approach to showbusiness.‌READ MORE: Molly-Mae's family 'concerned' as Tommy Fury back in ring day after star's due dateREAD MORE: Katie Price and pal Olivia Attwood poke fun at ‘missing’ Lee AndrewsHowever, now a production company is said to be "doing the rounds" of all the streaming platforms with an idea for a documentary - and Netflix is considering it.A TV insider told The Sun: “Although she is known for her ‘Never complain, never explain’ approach to life, there are signs that she might now be willing to discuss her life in a way she never has before. Getting Kate on board would make a huge difference to the streamers and probably spark a bidding war, if it came to fruition.‌"Though it’s a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation where having Kate sign up might be dependent on someone like Netflix saying it is interested first. There is a will among producers, however. They’re desperate to find a way to make it happen."Despite her private nature, Kate has been a bit more vocal recently. In 2024, she opened up about her modelling career for Apple TV's Vogue documentary. In the programme, which available on ITVX, revealed how her waif-like look was criticised slammed by parents of children with eating disorders — an admission that hit the headlines.‌"Parents would come up to me and say: 'My daughter’s anorexic'. It was awful," she said. "I think because I was just skinny, and people weren’t used to seeing skinny. But if I’d been more buxom, it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. It’s just that my body shape was different from the models before me."Vogue star Dame Anna Wintour reflected: "That look – very undernourished-looking model – made people uncomfortable. Many of us at Vogue worried about heroin chic or anorexia, all the things that are associated with that look. It got to such a fever pitch. I remember physically being in the White House when the Clinton administration took the issue on."On Friday, the movie, Moss & Freud, where Kate and artist Lucian look at pivotal moments in her life including when she decided to rein in her partying, is released.Article continues belowInterestingly, Kate is the executive producer of the project so maybe she will soon be in charge of her eagerly-awaited docuseries. The Mirror has contacted Netflix and Kate's rep for comment.Like this story?
