Sometimes I come in, it takes me five or ten minutes, and they go exactly where I want them to go; other days, they are not playing ball."When dealing with sheep with your partner, we have an argument, and it nearly ends up in divorce, so it's just ticking all those boxes. We have started on a good foot today.""We are just typical farmers now, rowing about sheep," Liz weighed in."Let's try to remain friends," Kelvin said as he and Liz shook on it before trying to gather the sheep.Despite the setback, the couple managed to successfully load the two sheep that they were sending to slaughter. It was a bittersweet moment for Kelvin as he reflected, "These will be the first two livestock we have witnessed being born, reared ourselves, and sent to market. We have seen the whole process. It is quite rewarding, actually."Elsewhere in the repeat episode, Kelvin and Liz made the heartbreaking decision to send their pet lamb, Aga, to join the rest of the flock.Kelvin reflected, "It's the right thing for him, but a day we've all been dreading."As they walked Aga up to the top field, he added, "Our Aga is more like a dog than a sheep, and we've all become very attached to the little guy.""She's gutted," Kelvin said to his wife as their daughter Marnie said her goodbyes to Aga. "She's going to be upset, isn't she?"Article continues below"That may not have been the most profitable decision I have made today, but family comes first," Kelvin added as they walked back to the farm.Fletcher's Family Farm is available to watch on ITVX.
