MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has delivered a batch of new Sukhoi Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces, the state corporation reported.
"The United Aircraft Corporation has delivered a batch of new Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces. The 4++ generation aircraft have completed a full cycle of factory trials. The aircraft were tested in various operating modes by pilots from the Russian Ministry of Defense and then flown to their home bases," the statement reads.
Rostec noted that the Su-35S fighter is intended to gain air superiority, as well as to engage enemy ground infrastructure at considerable distances from the aircraft base airfield.
