His comments followed claims by APC officials that Tinubu secured 10,999,160 votes during the party’s presidential primary to emerge as its standard bearer for the next election cycle.

Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed the outcome of the presidential primary conducted by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) alleging that the figures announced in favour of President Bola Tinubu were fabricated.

Atiku, who spoke in Yola, Adamawa State, shortly after participating in the presidential primary of the African Democratic Congress, insisted that Nigerians still had the opportunity to unseat the APC in the 2027 general election.

The former vice-president spoke at his Ajiya Ward in Yola North Local Government Area where party delegates and supporters gathered for the ADC exercise.
