Insider Brief
La Sierra University partnered with enQase to begin deploying quantum-safe security infrastructure aimed at protecting university systems and data from future quantum computing threats.
The initiative focuses on securing critical connectivity and cryptographic systems through technologies such as post-quantum encryption, Quantum Key Distribution, and quantum random number generation as organizations prepare for expected quantum computing advances and emerging NIST migration timelines.
University officials and enQase executives said the deployment is part of a broader long-term IT modernization strategy that includes stabilizing infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and preparing higher education institutions for widespread adoption of quantum-safe standards over the next decade.
