Bengaluru: Integrated skilling and workforce development company upGrad announced the appointment of Mukesh Mundra as its chief financial officer (CFO). Based in Mumbai, Mundra will lead the firm's finance and administration functions, focusing on financial strategy, business partnering, governance, and scale-building as it continues to strengthen its global growth trajectory, upGrad said in a statement. Mundra brings over 26 years of finance leadership experience across media, telecom, manufacturing, and consumer-focused businesses. In his previous stint, he served as head of finance at JioStar. He has also held leadership roles at Idea Cellular, contributing to strategic milestones including the acquisition of Spice Communications and the formation of the Indus Towers joint venture. He has also worked with Grasim Industries and Anand Rathi Group.
