SEOUL, May 26. /TASS/. North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles towards the Yellow Sea on Tuesday, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The missiles were launched from the area of the city of Chongju in the North Pyongan Province. According to the South Korean military’s classification, the range of such missiles does not exceed 300 kilometers.
The South Korean army said on April 19 that it had detected the launch of several small-range ballistic missiles from the area of the North Korean city of Sinpo towards the Sea of Japan.
