Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices in Delhi have been hiked by Rs 2 per kg, effective today, May 26, 2026. This is the third such increase in less than two weeks amid rising global energy prices. The consecutive hikes in CNG, petrol and diesel prices come amid mounting pressure on global energy markets due to escalating tensions in the Middle East and continued disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy corridor through which nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil and gas trade passes.
