Andrea Zimmerman, Target’s president for the India division, told a Reuters Summit in Bengaluru that the shift from subscription-based to token-based pricing is forcing the re-evaluation, according to the news outlet. She also noted that the company is eyeing more investments to convert its data into useful insight.
This comes as the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based retail chain is racing to improve its struggling sales.

The executive’s comment comes about a week after the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based retail chain appointed industry veteran Jeff England as its new chief supply chain and logistics officer. England noted that the company’s logistics operation needs modernization, manual and repetitive tasks handed to AI and automation tools.
