Now the company has added a cheaper model with an Intel Core i5-1235U processor. It’s available now for $559.With the AMD-powered model currently on sale for $659, that makes the new Intel version $100 cheaper. While the processor is a mid-range laptop chip that’s a few years old and significantly less powerful than AMD option, it should be good enough for most basic tasks… so if you’re planning to set up a home server with a lot of storage but don’t need a system with a super-speedy CPU or GPU or an integrated NPU, I suppose it’s nice to have the option of saving some money.But there are a few other important trade-off to consider SD speeds. The AMD models supports ECC memory, while the Intel version does not.
