BRASILIA, May 25. /TASS/. Russia remains a key supplier of fertilizers to Brazil now, accounting for about a third of the country’s market, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said.

"Currently, Russian products meet almost a third of the Brazilian fertilizer market’s needs. Moreover, our companies are implementing comprehensive investment projects: modernizing production facilities, developing infrastructure, and expanding their distribution network," he said following the 13th plenary session of the Russian-Brazilian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

The Russian side considers it promising to increase mutual investments in such industrial cooperation, the minister added.
