Family Of Beheaded Oyo Teacher Pleads With Tinubu For Personal Intervention, Visit, Recovery Of Remains

This follows the gruesome kidnapping, murder, and beheading of Mr Olugbade by the terrorists.

The family of Mr Oyedokun Michael Olugbade, one of the teachers abducted by suspected terrorists from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, has called for President Bola Tinubu’s personal intervention.

This follows the gruesome kidnapping, murder, and beheading of Mr Olugbade by the terrorists.

The family, through their lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, called on President Tinubu to personally intervene and visit the bereaved family.

In a petition dated May 25, 2026, and addressed to President Tinubu through the Chief of Staff to the President, Adeyanju, acting on behalf of the Olugbade family, called for urgent action to recover the late teacher’s remains and rescue other victims still being held captive by the abductors.
