MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. Russia’s state arms exporting company Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has signed $20 billion worth of contracts with African countries since 2023, the company’s CEO Alexander Mikheyev said.
"Thanks to the agreements reached during the Russia-Africa Summit and Rosoboronexport’s subsequent active work, about 150 contracts worth over $20 billion have been signed with countries on the continent since 2023. At the same time, the special exporter continues to build and expand military-technical and military-technological cooperation with its African partners," Mikheev said in his congratulatory message to partners on Africa Day, celebrated annually on May 25.
The head of the special export company noted that Rosoboronexport offers its African partners the most relevant products for equipping the Armed Forces and other security agencies - models that are best suited, among all those available on the global market, to respond to security challenges on the continent, as well as to protect the long coastline and vast waters.
